Billy Goodwin of Good Hope, Alabama, is survived by his devoted wife, Marilyn Brown Goodwin; children, Chris (Penny) Goodwin, JD Goodwin, Delia (Stan) Miller, and Cheryl Blalock (Wade Taylor); 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins and other family.
Billy was predeceased by his parents, Spencer and Lydia Wilson Goodwin, of Bremen, Alabama; son-in-law, Teddy Blalock, Jr; and brother-in-law, Danny Calvert.
Billy served our country after graduation from Cold Springs High School. A disabled veteran of the United States Air Force, he continued serving others as a medical technician for the State of Alabama until retirement.
Pastimes included selling and collecting knives, motorcycles, picnics with grandchildren, westerns, Alabama football, and Cullman County basketball.
A Memorial celebration is planned on November 14, 2020, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at Dodge City Town Hall basement for family and friends.
