Billy Gene Sanders, age 68, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at NHC Columbia.
Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on December 15, 1951 in Tracy City, Tennessee, Billy was the son of the late Dillard Sanders and the late Lillian Smart Sanders. He enjoyed watching old westerns and MASH. He also enjoyed raising chickens.
He is survived by his sons: Timothy Sanders, Billy Sanders, Nick Sanders, Johnny Sanders; daughters: Mary Jane Fowler, Tammy Sanders; brothers: Weldon Sanders, Adam Sanders, Dillard Sanders; sister, Edith Nunley; and fourteen grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Homer Sanders, Malon Sanders; and sister, Doris Sanders.
