Billy G. Wade, 81 of Muscle Shoals, went home to his Heavenly Father, while surrounded by his loving family at home, Friday, May 17, 2013. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 20, 2013 at Muscle Shoals Baptist Church with the visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Bro. Doug Farris and Emmitt Derrick will be officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Wade was a native of Osceola, Arkansas. He was a Korean War veteran, a member of Muscle Shoals Baptist Church, employed by Brach Candy Company and retired from T.V.A. after 26 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, George P. and Opal Wade; sisters, Laura Virginia Wade and Brenda Fay Wade; brother, Ruby Wade; sister, Mallory Gilmore; grandson, Jonathan Isbell and special friend, Frank McDaniel.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years and 11 months, Kathleen Malone Wade; daughters, Judy Kennedy (Tommy), Donna Isbell (Harold) and Patsy Moody (Jay); sisters, Glora Hammond and Eunice Simmons; granddaughters, Christy Corum, Kayla Moody and Amy Kennedy; grandsons, Michael Kennedy and Daniel Isbell; and 5 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Randy Minor, Jonathan Corum, Jimmy Myrick, Michael Peden, Brent Wear and Benny Frank Letsinger.
