Billy G. Kennedy, 91, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. Mr. Kennedy was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ferbie Patterson Kennedy, and son, Rickey Kennedy.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he worked for NASA for 35 years. Billy enjoyed model trains and clocks.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie D. Kennedy; sons, Phillip D. Kennedy (Ruth) and Timothy B. Kennedy; daughter: Pamela J. Kennedy; brother, Jerry Kennedy; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Clarence Putlovis.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
