Billy Franklin Templeton, 91, of Danville, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with Josh Sparkman officiating. A celebration of life service will follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.
Billy is survived by his three sons, Gary Templeton (Bobbie), Greg Templeton (Donna) and Barry Templeton (Delisa); 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Unice Willerdene Templeton; parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Templeton
Billy loved the Lord and it showed in every aspect of his life. He was a great and dedicated leader in the church and in his family. Billy was a devoted husband, father, farmer and master of all. He was a kind, gentle, quiet man that loved unconditionally. Billy was a talented individual; he could be given any challenge and excel in it. He retired from Montesano, then extended his work by driving a school bus, he loved being around the kids. Billy will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Templeton, Richard Templeton, Jared Templeton, Gary Templeton Jr., Justin Lyon and Adam Oliver.
