Billy Frank Jett, 81, retired Supervisor for Heil Quaker/Inter Cities Products and resident of Culleoka, died Friday, January 19, 2018 at Centennial Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 3:30 P.M. at Friendship Baptist Church with James Sampley officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home and Monday from 2:00 P.M. until service time at the church.

Born August 21, 1936 in Maury County, he was the son of the late James Thomas Jett and the late Mary Clementine Dial Jett. On March 2, 1957, he married Jolene Williams Jett who preceded him in death May 1, 2011. An outdoorsman, Mr. Jettenjoyed riding horses and was a Boy Scout Master of Troop 139. He was a member of Culleoka Lions Club, where was Charter President, Board member of Culleoka Fire Department, USSSA Umpire, past President of Heil Quarter Local Union, and served in the National Guard. Mr. Jett was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon for many years.

Survivors include his daughter, Lori (Eddie Liggett) Jett of Lewisburg; sons, Mike Jett of Culleoka; Chris (Gwen) Jett of Culleoka; grandson, Ethan Jett; sisters, Sandra Williams of Lewisburg; Patricia Fowler of Nashville; several nieces and nephews; and special family friends, Brenda Ring; Tricia Hobbs; Jean Helton; and Tracie Helton.

Active pallbearers will be Jeff Parks, David Hobbs, Freddie Ring, Drew Lewis, Royal Dickson, Trevor Gilmer, Jimmy Mathis, and Austin Gilmer. Honorary pallbearers include Culleoka Lions Club, Culleoka Fire Department, and Staff and patrons of Culleoka Market.
