Billy Eugene Laughlin, 77 of Cordova, passed away Wednesday January 2, 2019 at his residence.
He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a coal miner and was an avid Alabama fan.
Funeral service will be Sunday January 6, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Mary Henderson will officiate. Burial will follow in East Dora Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 12:30-2 pm at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aldie and Alma Pauline Laughlin; sisters, Mae Hood and Roxie Helms and his brother, Jimmy Laughlin.
Survivors include his daughters, Charlotte Williams and Rebecca Laughlin; grandchildren, Matthew Wiliams (Valarie), Kashius Smiley (Amber) and Trevor Nalls; four great grandchildren; brother, Lee Doyce Laughlin; seven sisters and one other brother; several other relatives and friends.
