Billy Edward Cosby, 85, of Florence, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016. His visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, from noon until 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. His funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. J.B. Burns and Doug Dickson officiating. Burial will follow in Asphalt Rock Cemetery.
Mr. Cosby was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jo Cornelius Cosby, mother, Lillian Hogeland Black, brother, Albert Cosby Jr., and sister, Betty Jean Goss. He was a member of Asphalt Rock Church and was a business owner.
He is survived by his wife, Willadean Cosby; daughter, Bethany Owens and husband, Tim; special niece, Jana Shook; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kendall Stanfield, Jared Sherrill, Craig Brown, Sammie Fritts, George Korycki, and Larry Bonds.
Honorary pallbearers will be Herbert Cox, Terry Thompson, Ardy Douglas, Gerald Dennis, and Perry Murphy.
