Billy Dwayne Parent passed away in his home January 31, 2025 of heart failure.
Billy is survived by his children- C. Kimball Parent, E. Brett Parent, Shelley Evangelista, his wife- Linda, brothers Floyd Parent, Jerry Parent, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Billy led an active and exciting life as a Football Cutchin Cowboy graduate (1964) Oklahoma State University, Retired Colonel Air Force Reserves, 25+ years, and Retired High School Teacher at Elk Grove High School, 25+ years. It thrilled Billy every day that he was retired longer than he worked.
He is proceeded in death by his wife of 33 years and mother of his children, Patricia Cheatham and his siblings, Leonard Parent, Paul Parent, Linda Wagner.
Billy leaves behind a multitude of friends, family, and loved ones. He is greatly missed.
