Billy Davis Jr., 74, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday. Billy was employed by BellSouth (ATT) for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Joe and Aleath Davis.
Billy leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Diane Davis; son, Bobby Joe Davis (Sarah); grandchildren, Ashlyn Grace and Matthew Davis; stepmother-in-law, Helen Mahathey; brother, Jimmy Davis (Anita); sister, Beverly Donawho; brother-in-law, Danny Mahathey; sisters-in-law, Gail Lamb (Donnie), Kim Greenway (Dan), and Mary Gothard; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with the memorial service immediately following in the chapel.
The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of North Alabama, Crystal Copney, and Gail Lamb for their long term care of Mr. Davis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of North Alabama.
