Billy Charles Thurmond ,71, of Boaz, AL passed away Sunday, January 2, 2021 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel with burial to follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Henager, AL. A.D. Stephens will officiate. Pallbearers will be Carl Seay, Bobby Miller, Scott Thurmond, Phillip Thurmond, James Pendergrass, Donnie Slaton. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. Preceded in death by his, mother, Fannie Mae Phillips Thurmond, father, Jesse Sylvester Thurmond, sisters, Mazell Slaton, Jeanie Daniels, Denise Willett, brothers, Arthur Thurmond, Doyle Thurmond, Jesse Ray Thurmond, Bobby Thurmond. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Thurmond of South Carolina, Kaleigh Lawrence (Deante)of South Carolina, sons, Terry Frazier (Jackie) of Ider, AL, Chris Frazier (Brianna) of Fort Payne, AL, a Host of Grandchildren, a Host of Great-Grandchildren, as well as a Host of Nieces and Nephews, special friend, Ollie Lang. Albertville Funeral Home Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
