Billie Lee King 85, of Sheffield, AL passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017. A visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery. Robert Shirley will officiate.
Billie was a majorette at Sheffield High School and married Haskel King in 1950 after graduation. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Sheffield, AL. Billie was always a loving and caring mother of three children.
She was preceded in death by her parents Guy and Rena Thompson, her husband for over fifty-three years, Haskel King; son Mike King, daughter Lisa King, and brother David Thompson.
Survivors are her daughter Vickie King; grandchildren Shae Willis (Kevin), and Tonya King; great-grandchildren Jaxson Willis, Jewel, and Linc , cousins Tommy and Phyllis, Joe and Shirley , and Patsy Brocato; and numerous other relatives.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
