Billie Junior West, age 85 of Parrish, went to heaven peacefully on Friday morning, April 21, 2017.
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Billie worked for Meadow Gold Dairy Company for 30 years, and went on creating wood workings for “Grandma’s Treasures”. Billie loved to dwell in his garden, harvesting gifts from the Lord.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Bro. Charles Underwood will officiate. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens.
Mr. West was preceded in death by his Wife of 46 years-Patricia Gresham West; Father-Henry W. West; Mother-Estelle Nevels West; Son-Joel Michael West; Sister-Dorothy Velma West Gant.
He is survived by his Brothers-Henry Chesley West (Jean) and Wayne Bradford West (Claire); Grandchildren-Brad West (Lindsey) and Blair Parrish (Justin); 3 Great Grandchildren; Host of nieces and nephews.
