Billie “Joyce” Trussell passed away on March 11, 2023 at her daughter’s residence, in Jasper, AL, surrounded by her family.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Shanghai Cemetery. Joan Willis and J.D. Dickerson will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her Husband-Raymond Trussell, they were married for 63 years; her Father-John E. Brown and Mother-Arella Brown; her 3 Sisters and 2 Brothers.
She is survived by 3 Daughters-Linda Hays (Ronald), Teresa Boshell (L.W.) and Loretta Nabors (Keith); Son-Bo Trussell (Regina); Sisters-Reba Brown and Nita Brown; Brother-Mike Brown (Donna Kay); 6 Grandkids; 16 Great Grandkids and 4 Great-Great Grandkids; A host of friends, family and neighbors; Special honorary niece-Mary Givins.
