Billie Jane Cudabac Roberts Nelson, age 77, of Florence, passed away at her residence on January 7, 2023 after a brief illness. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 13, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Railroad Cemetery in Iron City, TN.
Dixie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Roberts; son, Earl Robinson; parents, Ralph and Hazel Cudabac; sisters, Ann Blackstock and Joy Patyzer.
Survivors include her loving husband, Travis Nelson; children, Alan Robinson of Iron City, TN, Jeff Nelson (Terri) of Knoxville, TN, Lori Kyle (Jack) of Sweetwater, TN, and Jan Moore (Steve) of Gainesville, GA; daughter-in-law, Gaye Robinson; stepchildren, Jeff Nelson, Lori Kyle and Janice Moore; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Burgess (Glen).
Dixie was a gospel singer who loved the Lord. She was a member of the State Line Church.
