Billie “Bill” Edward Buffaloe, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, November 09, 2016 at Glenwood Healthcare in Florence, AL. He was born in Prentiss County, MS, and was raised in Lawrence County, TN, retired from Elkem Metals as Vice President of Administration; and a member of Fairfield Glade Interdenominational in Fairfield Glade, TN. He served as Vice President and President of both the Florence, AL Jaycees and Alabama Jaycees where he also served state-wide as Secretary, Vice President, and President. Nationally, Mr. Buffaloe was elected Vice President and was responsible in the position for the southern states. Mr. Buffaloe was very active in many other community and civic affairs, and encouraged others to be involved as well. Mr. Buffaloe served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby Turner and Pansy Scott Buffaloe.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, November 11, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 12, 2016, with Larry Harper officiating. Interment will follow at John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
