It is with heavy hearts that we must share the passing of our beloved Biddie Schrader on December 5th, in Huntsville, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Schrader.
Survivors include her sister, Nan McBride (John). Though she did not have children, she embodied every sense of a mother to her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Biddie proudly served 22 years in the military, including two tours of duty in Vietnam as a head medical officer, caring for and exporting the worst wounded to the Philippines. She spent her life serving and nurturing those around her. She will always be remembered as a keystone of our family, who kept us standing & inspired us with her perseverance and strength.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Alabama National Cemetery.
