Beverly Vivian Mikel Gifford, age 78 of Huntland, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Elkhalt, Indiana on February 25, 1943 to the late Bemis and Vivian (Guffey) Mikel. Before her retirement, Beverly was employed for over twenty years as a LPN at Harton Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed reading as well as watching hummingbirds and playing wither her cats. Beverly’s loving, caring nature will be remembered by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Gifford. Beverly is survived by her loving children, Dawn (Wayne) Alonso, Dewayne (Sheila) Culpepper, Randy Culpepper, and Tera (Harold) Rhoton; and siblings, Sonny Mikel, John Mikel, Jeff Mikel, Latisha Mikel, Darlene Bloosner, and Roger Mikel. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Clark Gardens with Rev. Todd Coutta officiating.
