Beverly Renee Barnes-Green of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on February 19, 2026. She was born on August 11, 1985, in Collin County, Texas, to Donald Ray Barnes and the late Sherri Dollarhide Barnes White.
Beverly cherished her beloved daughters, who survive her, Rebel Ray Faith Halstrom and Dallas Ann Marie Green, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her father, Donald Ray Barnes; her brother, Richard Scott Washburn; her uncles, Andrew Dollarhide and Larry Dollarhide; her aunt, Tracie Dollarhide; her grandparents, Lenard and Marsha Dollarhide; and numerous cousins and extended family members who love her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sherri Dollarhide Barnes White.
Beverly will be fondly remembered by her large extended family and many friends for her creativity, intelligence, and vibrant spirit, but mostly for her radiant smile. She had a playful, infectious laugh — always accompanied by her quick wit — which made many moments with her brighter.
Beverly attended Whitesburg Elementary and Whitesburg Middle schools before moving to Garland, Texas to live with her father. She came to know the Lord early in life through vacation bible school. A gifted writer, she graduated from South Garland High School in Garland Texas, where she won a state poetry contest and was active in local theatre. Her passion for the arts led her to become a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG).
She later earned a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas and became a licensed mediator in Texas before relocating to Huntsville. Beverly continued pursuing her interests by attending the Birmingham School of Law. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting and reading, and she carried a deep love for learning throughout her life.
On Sunday, March 8, 2026, a visitation with family will be held from 1:30 – 2:00 pm at Huntsville Christian Church, 171 Indian Creek Road NW, Huntsville, AL, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. John Lancaster officiating.
