Beverly Joyce PerkinsBeverly Joyce Perkins, age 71 of Belvidere, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Vanderbilt-Harton Hospital in Tullahoma. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on November 14, 1949 to the late Floyd Estill and Thelma Rosetta (Judge) Gifford. Before her retirement, she was employed for over thirty years by the Franklin County Board of Education as the Secretary at Franklin County High School. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed listening to music, and when she was able spending time outdoors. Beverly Joyce will be remembered for her loving nature and outgoing personality. She was a member of Midlothian Baptist Church in Illinois. In addition to her parents, Beverly Joyce was preceded in death by her brothers, Freddie Lee Gifford, and Thomas Farrell Gifford. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Monte Perkins of Belvidere; children, William Floyd Perkins of Belvidere, and Robert Clayton (Julia) Perkins of Belvidere; grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Perkins, Whitney Michelle Perkins, Jacey Perkins, Robby Perkins, and Samantha Steele; great-grandchildren, Skye and River; sister, Vickie (Terry) Grammer of the Broadview Community; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 11, 2021 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro.
