Beverly Jean Ragan, age 77, of Cherokee, passed away on July 6, 2026, at Helen Keller Hospital. A private service will be held at a later date.
She was born in West Virginia, but lived most of her life in Cherokee, AL She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed going to Tunica and shopping at thrift stores. She loved treating and caring for all of her animals.
She is survived by her loving husband, Frank Ragan; children, Chris Kryson (Jody), Brad Ragan, Billy Kryston, Melanie Robbinette (Donald); brother, Randy Blevins; sister, Connie McDonald; grandchildren, Austin Chapman, Britt Chapman (Courtney), Chris Kryston (Haley), Cynthia Scott (Gary), Mila Allen (Mike), Haley Howard (Jacob), Michelle Kryston, Seth Ragan (Brynli), Levi Ragan, Audrey Kryston; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Ethel Blevins; brothers, Jerry Blevins, Bob Blevins, and Larry Blevins.
