Beverly Ann Loden Benica Profile Photo Beverly Ann Loden Benica, age 77, known affectionately as Bev, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Unity Health White County Medical Center in Searcy, AR, surrounded by her two children and sister. She was greeted in heaven by her parents, James and Odell Loden and brother, Larry David Loden.

Born on January 7,1947, in Tupelo, MS, Bev had a fulfilling life marked by a deep love for her family, travel adventures, music, and all things Christmas, interests that she lovingly passed down to her children. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality, her laughter and always having a smile on her face.

After her graduation from Tupelo High School, her family relocated to Memphis, TN, where she met her first husband and father of her children. After numerous other moves, Bev settled in Virginia Beach, VA, and raised her family there.

Her memory will be cherished by her children, David Sean McCune (Dani) of NC and Tiffany Ann Lopes (Mattlock) of the Virginia Beach, VA area. Known as “Mimi” to Quinn, Maxx, Addison, and Banner, they were her deepest joy, and she was immensely proud of each one. She was loved dearly by her sister, Sandra Pitts (Mickey) of Cordova, TN and her nephew, Michael Pitts (Kayla) of Collierville, TN, along with his family, plus numerous cousins, and friends. She is also survived by the father of her children, Maurice McCune and her second husband, Charlie Benica.
