Funeral service for Beverly Ann Fields, 85, will be Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 11:00 am at Peck Funeral Home Chapel and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Bartee Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00am at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fields died on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at her residence. She was born October 18, 1939, in Michigan, to Hammond Van Fields and Marguerite Cecile Fields.
Mrs. Fields was born in Michigan and met her husband there. They moved to Lacey’s Spring, Alabama, about 40 years ago. She ran her own Bed & Breakfast for years in their home, where she loved to cook for and care for her guests. She named it “Apple Jacks, Bed and Breakfast”. She named it that after her son that passed away approximately 21 years ago.
She enjoyed living the country life, growing and eating her home grown vegetables, of which she was an excellent cook. She loved and grew her own flowers, and was very good at it.
Beverly was a big believer of God, spoke to individuals about their salvation and their relationship with God. She was a lover of dogs and had many throughout the years. She enjoyed caring for her guests and family until she was unable due to health issues and passed away at her home.
Preceding her in death were her husband and her parents.
