Beulah Meeks Lyman age 84 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Lyman was born May 26, 1929 in Clifton, AZ to Cecil Lewis Franklin and Margaret Vienna Weed.
Services are incomplete and will be announced at a later date. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Beulah Mae was born in Clifton, Arizona and travelled to California with her family harvesting crops. She was a devoted wife to Troy Meeks and after his death married Bob Lyman and was a devoted wife to him for 15 years until his death in 2010. She lived in Yuma, AZ for two years before moving to Athens, AL where she lived with her family as her health began to fail. She was a faithful child of God.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Ray; son, Tim Meeks; grandchildren, Heather Meeks, Brad Meeks, Brian Meeks, Cathy Ray, Christie Ray, Mike Meeks, Dianna Linder and Shane Meeks.
