Beulah Estelle Smith Wood, 82, of Waterloo, AL, died November 19, 2023. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 12 until 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Pentecostal Church, Waterloo, AL. The funeral service will immediately follow with Pastor Steve Bender and Pastor Paul Holloway officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Wood; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith; siblings, Beddie Smith, Ruth Sanders, Randle Smith, Jim Smith, and Gladys White.
Beulah is survived by her sons, Joey Wood (Sharon), Keith Wood, Greg Wood (Cindi), and Jonathan Wood (Susan); daughters, Rhonda Holloway (Lynn) and Beth Montgomery (Lee); brother, Grady Smith (Linda); grandchildren, Josh Wood (Bethany), Katelyn Dill, Mason Wood (Sarah), Kelsey McCall (Robbie), Alex Wood, Kendall Wood (Hope), Lauren Wood, Ben Holloway (Kassie), Levi Holloway, Carissa Holloway, Aaron Montgomery, and Cheyanne Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Cora Dill, Adeline McCall, Tate McCall, Camilla Wood, and Nora Wood; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins; special friends and sitters, Debbie Chowning, Dorothy Horton, Libby Golden, Mable (Lady Maude) Wood, Billie Mitchell, And Sissy Montgomery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family issues a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice nurses and aides for their care of their mom in her final months.
