Bettye-Paulk-1436108638Bettye Sue Clement Paulk survived by her dear husband, Leonard.

Born January 17, 1934, to Dewey Milan Clement and Bernice Ella Gill Clement.

Met Leonard Ancil Paulk when walking home from church, he stopped to ask if he could give her a ride.

They married January 26, 1952, in Corinth, Mississippi, living away for a few years where they made life long special friends, Robert and Nancy Oliver. They returned in 1964 to make Savannah their forever home.

She loved family, pitching “washers’, playing rook or pinochle. She had fun. Holidays were special and she loved decorating and preparing for Christmas Eve dinner and games.

She affectionately said she and “Lynn” had 3 children…Brenda Fielder Cornelius (Steve), William Craig Fielder (Jane), and Renee Fielder Wright (Thomas). They were nieces and a nephew, but you would never have known, the love was overwhelming as was her love for the numerous nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and great-niece.

Memorial Donations can be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
