Bettye Sue Aaron Bentley known lovingly as Mama Sue passed away October 7, 2026, at her home in Adamsville, Alabama. She was 87 years old. She has been sick since July and lovingly cared for by her husband of 69 years, Ivon Bentley.
Services will be October 9, 2026at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home

Dora, Al 35062
Visitation at 12 noon and funeral at 1.
Burial will follow at Crestview Gardens in Adamsville Al.
Sue was preceded in death by Her parents John and Nora Aaron, her siblings Harold and Joyce Aaron.
She is survived by her loving husband Ivon Bentley
Daughters Susan McLeod (Max), Sharon May (Mark) and Tammy Tharp and
Her extra special loves her 7 grandchildren. Tyler and Patrick McLeod, Joseph(Denise) May, Rachel(Joe) Roberts, Caleb May, Adam Tharp and Adriane Tharp.
Also surviving are her twin brother Billy Hugh Aaron(Lavonda) and sister Barbara Forrester. Also, a host of nieces and nephews.
Sue was always service minded and was happiest when serving others.
