Bettye Guy Matthews Weatherford, age 88, of Muscle Shoals, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016. Visitation will be Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her graveside service will be Friday, 11:30 a.m. in Lynnwood Cemetery, Lynnville, TN with Rev. Clinton Busler and Rev. Eric Brown officiating.
Mrs. Weatherford was a native of Lynnville, TN, but lived most of her life in Muscle Shoals. She was a member of First Methodist Church, Muscle Shoals. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John Lee Weatherford, Jr., and son Bill Weatherford.
She is survived by her sons; Ed Weatherford and wife Anita of Moulton, Bob Weatherford and wife Lori of Acworth, GA, brother; K. Matthews of Tampa, FL and : five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are grandsons and nephews
