Betty Wright Crawford Prince, age 91 of Cowan, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. She was born in Franklin County on October 10, 1929 to the late Clarence and Lena (Hanger) Crawford. Before her retirement, Betty worked for many years as a beautician and had also been employed at B & G Hardware in Cowan as store manager. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, as well as riding in the mountains in the jeep. But most of all, Betty cherished the time spent entertaining her beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hardy Prince; son, Bill Crawford Prince; and grandson, Jeffery Prince. Betty is survived by her loving children, Penny (Nick) Kessler of Winchester, David (Debra) Prince of Franklin, and Amy (Lee) Allred of Rockville; grandchildren, April Allred (Mike) Bryan of Rockville, Craig Allred of Rockville, Jordan Prince of Franklin, Peyton Prince of Franklin, John Zimmerman of Nashville, and Adam Zimmerman of Nashville; and great-grandchildren, Mary Beth, Bo, Weston, and Taylor.
