Betty Vowell, 84, of Henning passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at her residence. Visitation will begin at 12 PM Sunday at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley with funeral services to follow at 2 PM. Interment will be in Ripley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Vowell was a retired cafeteria worker at the Lauderdale Middle School.
The widow of Billy Ray Vowell, she is survived by a daughter Lisa Hutchins of Ripley, a son David Vowell of Brighton, a sister Sue Nell Strickland of Paris, a brother Billy Hester of Brighton, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson Nathan Hutchins.
