Betty Thrasher, 72, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017, at NMMC Hospice in Tupelo. She was born August 24, 1944 to the late Grady Wilemon and the late Eddie Faye Hatcher Wilemon. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She enjoyed yard sales and spending time with family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Tuesday February 14, 2017 with visitation beginning at 11:00 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Holsonback officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted to assist the family.
Survivors include her Sons: Rickey Dale Newell and John Wesley Newell, both of Mooreville; Grandsons: John Allen (Jessica) Newell and Bryan Lee Newell both of Fulton; Granddaughter, Victoria Grace Gray of Fulton; Sister, Donna Newell of Mooreville; Great-granddaughter; Dakodah Kemp; Great-grandsons: Bentley Gray and Jace Newell all of Fulton.
Preceded in death by her parents; Son, David Allen Newell, Brother, Mickey Wilemon, and a Sister, Brenda Lou Wilemon.
Pallbearers are John Newell, Bryan Newell, Jamy Foster, Michael Nanney, Kirk Henry, and Jackie Johnson.
Honorary Pallbearer is Rickey Dale Newell.
