Betty Teresa (Sebastiana) Ross, 95 of Jasper, AL passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Betty was born on November 10, 1930 in Washington, PA, daughter of Joseph and Mary LoNigro. Betty was a devout Catholic and a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Cokeburg, PA and St. Cecilia Catholic Parish in Jasper, AL. She was a loving wife and mother and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank D. Ross, son John Ross, sisters Carmela (Eramus) Innocenti, Kay (Pete) Martin, brother Sebastian LoNigro, and sister-in-law Ruth LoNigro.
She is survived by her sons Lanny Ross (Christina), Frank Ross (LaDonna), daughter-in-law Tami Ross, sister-in-law Nola LoNigro, eleven grandchildren, Maria Ross Campsey (Todd), Daniel Ross, Elizabeth Ross, Sarah Black (Harold), John Ross, David Ross, Ann Ross, Joseph Ross, Megan Ross, Crystal Bagby (Brandon), Stephen Cater (Nina), her ten great-grandchildren, Andrew Ross, Sofia Campsey, Elizabeth Black, Olivia Black, Lilah Ross, Kyra & Chloe Cater, Sierra Martinez (Jose), Olivia Carroll, Mattie Carroll, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Her funeral mass will be held at St. Cecilia Catholic Parish, Jasper, AL on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon in the fellowship hall for family and friends following. A blessing service will be held at Greenlee Funeral Home in Beallsville, PA on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a gathering at Hugo’s Restaurant in West Brownsville, PA. Internment will be held privately at Beallsville Cemetery.
