Mrs. Betty Sue Turner, 66, passed away in the morning hours of Friday October 21, 2016 at her home. She was born in Grundy County on May 24, 1950 to Lynn Clyde and Irene Nunley Tate who preceded her in death along with her brother, Raymond Tate and sister, Janie Dykes.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Altamont Ward.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Clayburn Turner; sons, Stacey (Wilma) Nunley and Mason (Marsha) Nunley; daughters, Amanda (Gerald) Campbell and LeBreeska (Matt) Meeks; step-sons, Jeffery Clay Turner and Donald Byron (Barbara) Turner; sisters, Alphene (Robert) Nunley, Margaret Nell Downey and Shirley Parson; brothers, Harold (Vanessa) Tate, Frank, Junior and Bill Tate; 19 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday at the Mormon Church with Bishop Jody Campbell officiating with burial to follow in the Altamont Cemetery. Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Saturday at the Church. Arrangements by: Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
