Betty Sue Roy, 65, of Vinemont, Alabama, passed from this life on January 28, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family. Mrs. Roy was born April 08, 1956 to Walter Andersen & Mildred Marie Filmore Benefield. She was a member at Powell’s Chapel Church, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. A Memorial Service will be planned and announced by the family.

Mrs. Roy was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law, Timothy Andersen (Betty) Bennefield; Sister-in-law, Cecilia Benefield; son-in-law, Noah Lee Reed; and sister, Janie Marie Benefield.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bobby Douglas Roy, Sr.; son, Bobby Douglas Roy, Jr.; daughters, Kethel Sue (Charlie) Partain, Tina Louise Reed and fiance’ Scott Bailey; Elsie Denise (CeCe) Mills; brothers, Paul Ray Benefield, Joseph Ray Benefield, Walter Ray Benefield; sister, Patsy Sain; two grandchildren, Christina Reed and Kimberly Roy.
