Betty Sue Holland – Obituary

Betty Sue Holland, 79, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, March 18, 2013, at her residence. Mrs. Holland was an active member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She was formerly employed at the Iuka Shirt Factory and at Genesco Shoe Company. She enjoyed reading and playing the piano at church. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 19, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 20, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Phillip Logan. Interment will follow in Cypress Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Michael Kemp, Cory Young, Dustin Holland, J. W. Bryant, Matt Stewart, and J. P. Stewart. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include one son, Donald Holland and wife, Felicia, of Red Bay, AL; two daughters, Pat Stewart and husband, J. P., of Tuscumbia, AL, and Lynette Kemp of Belmont, MS; three brothers, James Hayden Taylor of Iuka, MS, and Doug Taylor and Harry Taylor, both of Olive Branch, MS; three sisters, Glenda Lovell of Rienzi, MS, and Jan Tyson and Nina Frederick, both of Pontotoc, MS; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, T. B. Holland; her parents, J. H. and Velma Hopkins Taylor; and a sister, Gail Gleaton. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
