Betty Ruth Murphy Blevins, age 85, of Florence, Alabama, died, Thursday, November 24, 2016. The visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 26th from 6-8:00p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be Sunday, Nov. 27th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Henry Melton will be officiating. Interment will follow at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Blevins was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Blevins; her parents, brother, Robert Clarence Murphy; daughter, Pam Jones and son-in-law Jeff Trousdale.
She was a member of State Line Church.
Survivors include her son; Gary Blevins, daughters Gwendolyn Dowdy and Kimberly Trousdale; sister, Bobbie McGee, son-in-law Albert Jones, and daughter-in-law, Pat Blevins, four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
