Betty R. Gist, 88, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 12 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Cox Boulevard Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Dollie Riner; husband, Jack Gist; brother, Ralph Riner; sister, Barbara King; sons, Randy Gist and Russ Gist.
Betty is survived by her sons, Rick Gist (Paula) and Robbie Gist; sister Marjorie Marthalar; brother, Tom Riner; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
