Betty Marie Hammond Scott, 86, of Lexington, AL, passed away June 25, 2025 at NAMC. Betty was a retired LPN and Cardiac Nurse at ECM Hospital. She was a member of North Carolina Church of Christ. Betty is survived by: Son: Gerald Scott (Amy) Daughter: Janet Davis (Kevin) Granddaughter: Andrea White (Nick) Honorary Grandchildren: Lily, Whitlee, Chloe, Ali, Zeppelin, Gage, Onyx, Waylon, and Millie In-Laws: Mitchell Scott, Shelby Scott, Katherine Scott, and Jimmie Hammond Special Cousin & Lifelong Neighbor: Jackie Killen Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends Special Furbaby: Daisy She was preceded in death by: Parents: Jasper Calvin Hammond and Virginia Irene England Hammond Husband: James Rayburn Scott Brothers: Edgar Hammond and Kenneth Hammond Sister: Ruby Doris Arnold Visitation will be Friday, June 27, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tommy Ruple officiating. Burial will be in Tabernacle Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Stokes, Wendell Hammond, Nick Waller, and Josh Hammond.
