Betty Marie Broadway, 86, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at South Hampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.
Mrs. Broadway has lived in the Ardmore area the majority of her life where she was a member at Shipps Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending her free time gardening and visiting friends. She also enjoyed reading as well as watching the Hallmark channel.
Mrs. Broadway is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Curtis and Louise Kimbrough Curtis, her husband, A. W. Broadway, as well as four brothers: William, Calvin, Cecil, and Tommy.
She is survived by her two sons, Ray Broadway and Rickey (Lisa) Broadway, one daughter, Rosemary (Buster) Jones, one brother, Harold (Joanna) Curtis, two sisters, Rosie Higginbotham and Patsy (Jim) Corris, four grandchildren: Mallory (Zach) Jones, Trey (Hona) Broadway, Zachery (Katie) Jones, and Caitlin (Miles) McGlamery, as well as four great grandchildren: Parker Jones, Cooper Broadway, Sadie Jones, and Chloe Jones.
There will be a visitation held for Mrs. Broadway at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. A Chapel Service will be held following visitation beginning at 3:00 PM. Pastor Leslie Curtis and Bro. Bruce Barber will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
