Funeral service for Betty Mae Wallace, age 84, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, February 24, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Burningtree Cemetery.
Mrs. Wallace, who died Friday, February 20, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born July 12, 1930 in Independence, Kansas, to Charles Hamilton and Ruth Wingard Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Wallace and her parents.
She is survived by two sons, Tim Wallace (Dawn) of Hampton, VA and Robb Wallace (Debra) of Decatur, one sister Gene Lee of Bakersfield, Ca, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association.
