Betty Mae McNatt

Betty Mae McNatt, age 69, of Athens, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025 at her residence.

She was born August 23, 1956, in Decatur Illinois to Theodore and Alma Johnson Huskisson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her baby boy, and her sister Patsy, Ona Mae.

Mrs. McNatt was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to yard sales, thrift stores, pawn shops, and the Farmers Market. She loved her family and her plants.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Harold McNatt Sr, her 7 children, Betty Bloeman (James),Rebecca McDonald (Charles), Harold McNatt Jr., Theodore McNatt (Angela), Donald McNatt (Angie), Joseph McNatt (Kim), Melanie Bobe (Keith), bonus son Jeff Foster, 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, several brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her best friends Tabitha Byrom and Maalac Steele.
