Betty Mae Jamerson Pharr, 69, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. She was born in Red Bay, AL to Kenneth Jamerson and Alva Mae Whitehead Jamerson. Betty was a nurse and worked at the Courtyards in Fulton, MS for over twenty years.
Services will be Wednesday, July 2, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Dan Lauer officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, 12-1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two children, David Pharr (Amy Reid) and Cassondra Pharr (Jon Itzen); three grandchildren, Jody Pendergraph, Keira Pharr and Hannah Pharr; two great-grandchildren, Aaron Pendergraph and Amora Mills; two sisters, Wanda Pharr (Dennis) and Brenda Williams and two nieces, Emily Pharr and Christy Credille (Brian).
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Pounders, William Reid, Cody Birmingham, Jason Moreland and Braxton Shaw.
