Betty M. Nance, 81, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, died February 20, 2015. Visitation will be Monday, February 23, at the Tuscumbia Church of Christ Annex from noon till 1:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m.
The committal service and burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens immediately following the services.
She was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and a long time member of the Tuscumbia Church of Christ, and most recently the Signal Mountain Church of Christ. She loved mission work and made many mission trips to Albania, Costa Rica and Cambodia. She is survived by four children: Carol McClure, Greg Nance, Jonathan Nance and David Nance; sister, Olean Owens; brother, Billy Melson; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Calvin, Gilbert, Dee, and R.J. Melson; sister Nadine Yeager, and loving husband, Charles Nance.
