Betty Lue Potter, 61, of Florence, died Tuesday March 11, 2014, at her home following an extended illness. Visitation will be 1pm until 3:30pm Saturday at Greenview Funeral Home.
Mrs. Potter was a native of Gary, IN and formerly lived in Hammond, IN before moving here in 2009. She attended the Muscle Shoals Church of the Nazarene.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Bernice Cook Badgley and Claude A. Badgley and a sister, Virginia Badgley. She is survived by her husband, Paul E. Potter; son and daughter-in-law, Paul A. and Melaura L. Potter, Florence; brothers, Brett Michael Badgley, Hammond, IN and Jeffrey Kevin Badgley, Lexington, TN; sisters, Claudia Natle, Saulk Village, IL, Diane Lee Heard, Hammond, IN, Mary Jo Sanchez, Hammond, IN and Nancy Lynn Burress, Hebron, IN; uncle, Lacy Potter; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Linda Badgley for her love and support during Betty’s illness.
