Betty Lucille Huffchild McGrath

was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on November 7, 1936 the daughter of the late Arthur Otto and Edna Rose Shramm Huffchild.

Betty was a bus driver for the Stevensville School System for 25 years and the Hardin County School System for 12 years. She was a member of Green Acres Mission-Cowboy Church in Counce, Tennessee. Betty enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, knitting, crocheting, making flower arrangements for her home, working in her garden, and watching hummingbirds.

She departed this life on Thursday, July 1, 2021 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 24 days.

Betty is survived by her children, Lyn Cunningham of Adamsville, Tennessee and Michael David Peckham and his wife Stephanie of Oklahoma; grandchildren, George Thomas Wallace and his wife Susie, Michael David Peckham, Jr., Michael David Cunningham and his wife Amber, Julie Ann Alden, Greg Alden, and John Alden; great grandchildren, Tabitha, Kimber, Autumn, and Dixie; and one sister, Edna Rose Wiling of Berrien Springs, Michigan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Thomas James McGrath and one son, Blair Vernon Peckham.
