Betty Lou Campbell Betty Lou Pylant Campbell of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away Thursday evening, August 21st, 2025, at NHC Pulaski surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Decatur, Alabama on December 25th, 1937 and was 87 years old.

Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved sewing, gardening, and could often be found picking blackberries and field greens. She worked many years as a painter and enjoyed restoring old furniture. Although Betty had many hobbies, above all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26nd, 2025 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
A funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in Aspen Hill Cemetery.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Campbell, parents, George and Rora Moss Pylant, son, Mikie Campbell, grandson, Jon Campbell, granddaughter, Lisa Jones, two sons-in-law, Kenneth Butcher and Tom Wiggins, sisters, Easter Tate, Rosalee Stover, and Evie Allen, brothers, William Bill Pylant, Jerry Pylant, James Pylant, Author “Bud” Pylant, and Donald Pylant.
She is survived by,
Daughters, Patricia Butcher of Pulaski, TN
Debbie Wiggins of Pulaski, TN
Rose Ogle (Ronny) of Decatur, AL
Son, Roger Campbell of Minor Hill, TN
Brother, Charles Pylant of Elkton, TN
14 Grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren
Special Friend, Donna Campbell
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
