Betty Lou Durham, age 83, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, March 06, 2015 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired sales clerk from Walmart, and a member of Shady Grove Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Tripp Mitchell; one grandson, Michael Durham; three brothers, Jimmy Mitchell, Charles Mitchell, and Bobby Mitchell; and three sisters, Mary Ann Gray, Marie Mitchell, and Dorothy Mitchell.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, March 08, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, March 09, 2015, with Chris Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County , TN. Family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
