Betty Jean Walker Soucy, 70 of Winfield, Alabama.
Betty was born on January 24, 1949, in Winfield, Alabama to Robert Walker and Eulene Thompson Walker. Betty first earned a degree in Cosmetology, but her love was always helping others, she later earned her certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was employed with Beverly Health Care Center in Winfield for 20 years until her retirement. She loved her children and grandchildren, going to yard sales, thrift stores and collecting trinkets.
Died: August 31, 2019, at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
Visitation: 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Monday, September 2, 2019, at the Bowen Funeral Home in Winfield, Alabama.
Funeral Service: 4:00 p.m., Monday, September 2, following visitation, at the funeral home chapel.
Burial: Center United Methodists Church Cemetery (Marion County AL Hwy. 36)
