Funeral service for Betty Jean Terry Morgan, age 82, of Trinity, will be Wednesday, March 14, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Zack Terry and Jackie Camp officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service. Interment will be in Oak Grove First Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Morgan, who passed away at her home on March 12, 2018, was born August 30, 1935, in Alabama to Floyd Terry and Stella Fuller Terry. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as five brothers. Mrs. Morgan, with her husband, has owned Morgan’s Country Store and Plaza for over 30 years. She enjoyed listening to old country music and knitting.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, James Paul Morgan. Together they had three children, Michael Morgan (Karen), Greg Morgan (Rhonda), and Lisa Horton (Johnny), as well as seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
