Betty Jean Stalnecker, age 75 of New Hope, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Marshall Medical Center North. She was born on July 19, 1947 in Memphis, Tennessee to Leland Robert Sanders and Leta jones Sanders. Betty was a member of Owens Crossroads Baptist Church; a lady who loved the Lord; an avid Florida Gator’s Football Fan. She enjoyed old hymns, county music, gospel music, fishing, sewing and the color orange……hence being a Gator Fan.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Stalnecker; parents, Leland and Leta Sanders; brother, Robert Sanders. She is survived by her children, Randy (Amy) Crawford, Martin (Nicole) Stalnecker and Rhonda (Joel) Keeton; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Owens Crossroads Baptist Church at a later date and time.
